The PCJ Media Story PDF Print E-mail

PCJ Media is the brainchild of Taiwan-based Canadian broadcaster Keith Perron.

The company was set up shortly after the revival of The Happy Station Show.

PCJ as a name has a long history. In 1928 Philips Radio started broadcasting using the call sign PCJJ, a few years later the creator and first host of the Happy Station Edward Startz changed it to PCJ.

Startz said that PCJ stood for Peace, Cheer & Joy.

Listen Live - Yes, you can! Drop in on the show, spinning 24 hours a day currently - full schedule coming!

The Happy Station Show is the flagship show of PCJ, just as it was back in the days of Philips Radio.

Currently, Happy Station can be heard via WRMI Miami Florida and a growing variety of affiliates Worldside - and coming soon to WRN Satellite Europe in the Spring of 2010!

The Happy Station Show was the world's longest-running shortwave radio programme, running from 1928 until it was cancelled in 1995. The all-new Happy Station program offers a myriad of entertainment and surprises in 2010!
