I am please to announce that coming soon to PCJ Media and Radio a series of rare programs done in 1964 and 1965 for the BBC called Benny Hill Time. During this time Hill had a very popular series on BBC television. 

These programs are very rare as the BBC lost the original tapes in a fire years ago. The only copies to survive were those sent to radio stations overseas as part of the BBC's transcription service. 

I'm in the middle of cleaning these disks up. More to follow soon!

Benny Hill Time - February 23, 1964 - (download or listen) A few technical notes: The original BBC Transcription disc suffered from mold because of poor storage. This recording is from a tape transfer done at Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) for broadcast. The air date on RTHK in Hong Kong was May 3, 1964. The tape it was dubbed to for transmission also suffered from poor storage. I have done the best I could to transfer the tape. At certain parts you will hear audio drops. This is because there are a number of splices in the tape.
