As you might have heard Radio Vlaanderen International will close on December 31st. But lets go back to the golden era of Belgium Radio International. The station had just as big a following as many other international broadcaster. One era of BRL that people remember well was when David Monson hosted Brussels Calling. David could just sit infront of the microphone and make anything come alive. 

During his time as host of Brussels Calling he released an album of some of his best monologues. Some of these have not been heard since they were originally broadcast.
